We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our tightly-knit team. This is a critical leadership role for a seasoned residential construction professional who thrives in a small business environment, values autonomy, and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects with integrity, organization, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage custom home, remodeling/addition, and light commercial projects from start to finish.
  • Coordinate daily field operations, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal team members.
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed on time, on budget, and to company standards.
  • Review plans, drawings, scopes of work, specifications, selections, and change orders for accuracy.
  • Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and the internal team.
  • Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, cleanliness, and overall project execution.
  • Identify and resolve project issues before they become larger problems.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, job notes, photos, change orders, RFIs, and client communication.
  • Track project budgets, costs, purchase orders, allowances, and subcontractor billing in coordination with the office team.
  • Ensure subcontractors understand expectations, timelines, quality standards, and jobsite requirements.
  • Support estimating, preconstruction planning, and project handoff as needed.
  • Manage punch lists and ensure timely completion of final details.
  • Uphold company standards for craftsmanship, professionalism, honesty, and client experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction, custom homes, remodeling, or high-end construction.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, scopes of work, schedules, budgets, selections, and trade coordination.
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and client communication.
  • Ability to read plans, identify potential issues, and coordinate solutions in the field.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort making proactive phone calls and leading project conversations.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
  • Stable employment history; seeking a long-term role with growth potential.

  • Experience with construction management software is preferred.
